Join us for a jam-packed day of Gaelic music, sport & culture as we celebrate Seachdain na Gàidhlig, all rounded off with a fun family ceilidh – expect singing, dancing, chat and good craic!

Youth Fèis Day 10am – 4pm (bring a packed lunch)

For musicians aged 8+ who can already play a few tunes:

Groupwork with Mairi: Bring your instrument and get to know some new tunes, and how to play in a group of mixed instruments – a great introduction to playing in a ceilidh band! This will be a full day of music making, split into a morning and afternoon session with a break for lunch.

For children from birth to preschool aged with a parent/carer:

Fuirich is Cluich: (Stay & Play) Come and enjoy an introduction to Gaelic through simple singing games. Tickets for Stay & Play session cost £5 per family (please add a free ticket for each child to your booking) . The session is from 10.30am to 12.30

For P1-3 :

Morning Session: Shinty: Our local coaching team will put you through your paces while you learn basic skills. Please note, this workshop will be held outdoors. Suitable clothing & footwear required and a change of clothes is advised!

Afternoon Session: Fèis Bheag: join Sandra & Carrie for an afternoon of traditional songs, Arts & Crafts and Music

For P4-S3:

Family Ceilidh – 7pm – 10pm

Join us back in the main hall at the community centre from 7.00 to 10.00pm where all in the community will be welcome to come along and listen to our tutors and talented young musicians. The evening will be very informal and everyone who would like to is encouraged to give a tune, a song or a story. Nairn Gaelic Choir will also be joining us for some songs.

Entry to the Ceilidh is included with all full day Fèis tickets. Additional Ceilidh tickets cost £5 for adults and £2 for children.
